snownami

My little Bek, helping me make cookies.
Kate found these awesome icicles out front

We had a wonderful day yesterday. We got about 20 inches of total snow and crazy wind. Schools were closed and even the little snow plow that was trying to plow out our neighborhood got stuck. People were instructed not to leave their homes. It was really fun to just be snowed in and be together. It was not until sometime in the middle of the night, that the plows finally made it through our neighborhood.
This morning it was back to life as we know it. Seminary, School, Music Class and Scouts. Oh, well it was fun while it lasted...

Hi Kerri Ann, I'm so glad you got to enjoy your snow day. We have had over 20 snow days this winter, so the idyllic scene of togetherness has somehow worn off. It is nice though, to have everything slow down enough so that we have a moment to reflect on all that we love. Hoping that you stay warm!

Wow! That's alotta snow!! We haven't had much snow here but Jack Frost has kept us frozen with the arctic wind and temps we've been having. I had to walk around campus in 10 degree weather with a -5 wind chill. Brrrrr! Hope we get to see you all soon:) XoxooxoooOOOX

And to think that I was complaining about our weather. Our version of a snow day this week was it's just too cold to go outside. It did get below freezing we are just big wimps.

Looks like fun! It reminds me of when we were little... always soooo very exciting when school got cancelled, eh? I remember one night we had your family over for games and we kept watching it snow and blow and your family got to stay reaaallly late because it was for sure a snow day the next day. Remember that? :)
